Best Bites in Gig Harbor
We are a combination of long-time locals and new locals from the southern U.S.and England. Aside from a love of real estate, we also share a love of great food! Here is our list of best sit-down restuarants in Gig Harbor, Washington.
Tides Tavern
The Tides Tavern is a local classic, and for good reason. With the comfort of a neighborhood bar, and the upgrade options in food and drink of a finer dining establishment, the Tides is the perfect place for any occasion. Originally a general store built and operated by Axel Uddenburg, Peter Stanley renovated the location and opened it to the public in the summer of 1973. This is also one of the few locations in the area that can be reached by water, and offers dockside food service. 21+ only to eat-in, minors can enjoy Tides eats from the comfort of a boat on the dock, or if someone of age snags takeout.

Morso
The high quality and class of this lovely wine bar and restaurant are a reflection of its fabulous owner and manager, Trish Huff. If you’re a wine lover, you are sure to be pleased with Morso’s extensive wine list. The menu is updated seasonally, and the patio offers sensational views of the Harbor.

The Greenhouse
Locally owned and operated, the Greenhouse is self proclaimed fine dining with a modern twist. With ingredients sourced from local fisheries, farms, and ranches, their menu offers seasonal selections in addition to well-loved staples. The views from Anthony’s are hard to beat, found at the end of the Harbor across from Finholm’s Market. If you’re looking for seafood, Anthony’s is your destination. This restaurant chain is family owned and the fare served here is caught locally by their own seafood company. Small outdoor patio available, and a decent happy hour with stunning water and marina views.
Must Try: Hawaiian Ahi Nachos, Chowder, or Seasonal Desserts
