Let’s take a peek at what is happening in our local real estate market. Looking at the number of new listings, the numbers are not much different from a month ago. But, the number of price reductions have increased across the board. What does this mean??
Price reductions can tell us a few things. They can be a sign that the property was originally priced over what the market is willing to pay. Or it can show us a shift in the market. In this particular case we think it is a reflection of what we like to call the July Slump – something we see every year.?
