What is ESCROW?

When a real estate transaction is under contract we work with an escrow company to close the deal. They are a third party company that is responsible for receiving and distributing money and/or property after all contractual obligations are met. Basically, they are the unbiased middle man making sure both buyers & sellers are protected.
