What is REAL ESTATE?
Have you ever asked yourself, what is REAL ESTATE? The “real” in real estate is derived from the Latin meaning of actual or physical. And “estate” refers to the property. Therefore, Real Estate is also known as REAL PROPERTY.
It is land, anything attached or affixed to the land, and anything incidental or appurtenant to the land. This includes air rights, water rights, mineral rights, and support rights. Fun fact: did you know that a property owner is free to sell any of these rights and they can be sold separately from the land itself?
